I'm Chris Armstrong. I've been Chasing Perfection since 1992.

I've lived in the beautiful town of Bournemouth on the south coast of England since I was born. That was back in 1992.

I studied Product Design (BSc) at Bournemouth University from 2010 until 2012, during which time I worked with companies like Anglepoise and B&Q, creating elegant and simple solutions to complex engineering and design problems.

Whilst I was studying at university, my free time was spent reading, writing and learning about digital software and technology.

I founded Chasing Perfection in December 2011. It's improved a lot since then. My writing has, too.

Chasing Perfection should entertain, enlighten, amuse and explain. It may not be completely free from opinion, but any stated should be logical. If you have a problem with anything mentioned here, or spot any factual inaccuracies please let me know.

The Industry

In April 2012 I started writing for The Industry, a website focusing on the intersection of design and technology.

Software and Services

Chasing Perfection is hosted on Squarespace 6, running a heavily modified version of the default “Five” template. If you find any quirky bugs, please let me know.
