A Better Mousetrap

This university project to design an improved, humane mousetrap improved my sketching, rendering and prototyping skills.

This final CAD render shows the mousetrap in use. The simple and elegant styling of this product should ensure it fits well into modern homes.

One of my favourite aspects of Bournemouth University’s Product Design course is the generous access to workshops for prototyping. Whilst 3D printing is useful, understanding the limitations and personalities of different materials is vital when designing a commercially viable product.
